This privacy policy governs the collection and use of genetic material (DNA) collected through the yonder biology Collection Kits including the handling and processing of all DNA samples.

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We will only use your DNA sample to generate a DNA gel image(s) for artistic display. All remaining DNA and DNA intermediates are destroyed one month after image delivery.

Information Collection

We receive the information that you provide when you order the Collection Kit and when you submit your DNA sample. Providing this information, and/or submitting your Collection Kit for processing, implies your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of that information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, do not order a Collection Kit or submit a DNA sample for processing.

Information Use and Disclosure

Yonder biology will use the DNA sample you provide to create a gel image of amplified portions of your genome. This image could not and should not be used to diagnose or imply anything about ones health or genetic character.

Yonder biology will not publicly disclose any Personal Information or share your DNA with others.

We will retain the gel image of your DNA analysis, together with your Personal Information for a period of 6 months. After 6 months we will de-identify your image and your image will become anonymized with others in our collection unless otherwise requested.

By providing us with your Personal Information, including your address, you consent to us sending your DNA gel image and other messages to your physical address. By providing us with your Personal Information, including your email address, you consent to yonder sending notices, promotional emails and other messages to your email address. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails or notices in the mail by contacting us at optout@yonderbiology.com
